VS Miraculous Bra

Apparently this bra has been around since November or whatever...but I only discovered it last month! I first bought it full priced in black for $48 X_X but if you're ever going to spend $50 on a bra, do it for this one. It has enough padding to potentially make your boobs look fake, so be careful if you don't like that haha. It claims to make you look 2 cup sizes larger, and for me it does! I'm a 36B and this helps me fill out shirts and dresses, and also evens out my curves since my butt is HUGE and my breasts...not so much.

**this picture does not give the padding justice

And now is the perfect time to buy it since select sizes are apart of the Victoria's Secret Semi-Annual SALE! I don't think they have anymore online, but they had a lot in store. (The sale started the 15th so hurry!)

Sooo.... I got 3 more at 40% off! Making them $30 each. :) I still payed $90, but I got three of them for less than the price of two HELL YEAH. The only downside to this deal is that they only put the weird colors on sale...in my size they only put the 2 reptile prints (brown and black) and the bright red solid color on sale. But hey, I already have the black one so these shouldn't be too bad to pull off.

This bra may not be for everyone so please try it on before you shell out the money for this beauty. I've been reading reviews that a lot of AA and A cup sized girls have huge gaps when they wear this bra.

Ulta haul!

So I've discovered whitening...and I'm giving it a shot with Go Smile!
Go smile has a 7 day whitening kit and I also bought the accessories to go with it. (and some other stuff hahaha)

Here's a list of what I got today :)
Go Smile Whitening System 7-day supply (+bonus 3 days)
Go Smile Variety Touch Up Kit
Go Smile Toothpaste Sampler
OPI Flower-to-Flower
OPI Flit a Bit
OPI Mother's Day kit
Gillette Venus Embrace disposables razors
Banana Boat Summer Color Tanning Lotion

The Go Smile system basically has two steps, whiten and maintain. The 10 day kit that whitens was $89 (steep, I know T_T), while the touch up kit was $28 and the toothpaste was $15.

These is the touch up kit. It has 6 mint, 4 watermelon mint, and 4 green apple flavored touch ups. It also comes with a cute carrying case with a mirror, but its kind of thick and hard to open :(

The whitening set comes with 14 ampoules with a bonus 6. You use one ampoule in the morning, and one in the evening.

This cute sampler set of toothpaste is one of the items I'm most excited about. In many testimonials and reviews I heard that these toothpastes taste great. I couldn't decide whether to get the AM/PM duo set for $30, the travel AM/PM set for $12 or just buy the Lemonade individually for $16...so I bought this set of all three travel sizes for $15! I thought the price was set right for me to try all three before I get any full sizes.

Let's see where this super expensive whitening journey takes me! I'll post pictures next week of my progress, I really hope I stay consistent with this system.

My Summer Fragrance choices

So I've been using Prada "Infusion d'Iris" and Vera Wang "Look" for the past year and a half and I'm still only about half way through both bottles...but since I've been using them for so long I thought I'd change it up for the summer :)

DKNY - Fresh Blossom
This is an Eau de Parfum in 1.0Fl Oz apply spray bottle. This is a nice floral fragrance that is summery but is still mature enough to wear to dinner. This scent is much different from the original DKNY Be delicious which has a strong apple smell. I wish I bought the art deco bottle though :(

CK - One Summer 2010
Calvin Klein usually releases a One Summer fragrance every year...and this year it's more of a citrus/fruity scent. This is a unisex eau de toilette in a 3.4 Fl Oz bottle. I think this will be an easy to wear fragrance that I can splash on all over my body since it's such a big size. I love CK perfumes and am looking forward to 2011's!

Stila - Creme Bouquet Roll-on
This last perfume was a gift to me :) unfortunately it's discontinued, but it's available on Ebay. It's a .30 Fl Oz roll-on bottle. It has a sweet caramel floral scent (if that makes sense haha). I like that I finally have a roll-on perfume that I can take with me in my purse when I forget to spray something in the morning.

I'll probably bring all three with me when I travel abroad this summer. I think they give me a good variety of scents to wear so I don't have to wear the same thing everyday. What do you wear for the summer?

Sephora Haul 4/19

Today was the last day to take advantage of the Beauty Insider 15% discount and I hope all of you bought some goodies too!

So I was quick to try new products out with this discount, and I'll have to test them out but I'm already disappointed in a few of them...

Bare Escentuals Heavenly Face brush.
This is a flat head buffer brush that I have been lemming to buy for about a year. Bare Escentuals brushes are way below average, but I've heard many raves on this particular brush. I plan to use it with my Studio Fix Powder Foundation and possibly bronzers/blushes? We'll see.

Hourglass Calligraphy Eyeliner
I loved the opaque black color that came out of the applicator when I was in the store, but I'm not loving it so much when I tested it on my eye this evening. I'll have to try it more tomorrow, but it looks like I might return it.

NARS Galapagos Eyeshadow
I have been wanting this eyeshadow since it came out. Its a medium-dark brown with gold glitters: perfect for summer smoky eyes! I'm super excited about it, but I also wanted to buy Mekong e/s with it....maybe when I return the eyeliner I'll buy it lol.

Tarte Natural Lip Creme Pencil in Joy
I've been interested in buying a lip stain lately since one of the SA's applied Benefit's Posietint...but I don't like that it's a liquid. So I bought this pencil which is kind of a hybrid between a stain and a lip balm. I'll try it out tomorrow :)

Peter Thomas Roth Instant Mineral SPF 30 Powder
This looks like something that I'll return also. I couldn't resist it at the counter because it was only $10 haha. It was an impulse buy, but I thought it would be useful in the summer here in Texas. The brush isn't very soft, but I'll try it out for a week.

These last two products were not bought at Sephora so they were at regular prices.

Rosebud Strawberry Lip balm
Love the scent of this balm, very moisturizing :)

MAC Warm Soul Mineralized Blush
Yay finally my first mineral blush from MAC. I don't own any and I know glowy skin is in for spring/summer so I thought I'd try em out! This color is super neutral and I think it'll match my skin tone perfectly. I can't wait to try it.

HG Eyeliner?

For months, the only eyeliner I've been using is a liquid eyeliner by L'oreal.

L'oreal Lineur Intense - $7
It's easily a dupe for the Lancome Artliner which retails for a whopping $29. Maybelline has also released a similar liner, but I think L'oreal has the concept down pat. The way the felt tip applies liner makes it easy for me to make wings and smooth lines.

For liquid liners with a brush, I always get it on my lashes or there's too much liquid on the applicator. I think the L'oreal liner takes the least amount of time to apply because there's no extra brush to apply it with like a cream/gel liner and it definitely doesn't smudge.

My only complaint is that it's not waterproof, only water resistant. I'm ready to pull out the cash if L'oreal, Lancome, or Maybelline develop a waterproof formula.

Starting up again.

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything...and my youtube videos are still on hiatus until I think I should start recording again. But from now on I'll regularly post here.

I'll begin with Skincare.
Before, I didn't really care for my skin with treatments nor masks...but lately I've been keeping my complexion pretty clear with a few products I've tried out.

For my skin type, I'd say I'm oily around the t-zone but I get dry spots on my cheeks occasionally. I do have some acne and scars but I'm not acne prone now that I'm a bit older than when I first started wearing makeup.

Biore: Deep cleansing pore strips (6pk = $8, 14pk = $11)
Because I get especially oily on my nose, I tend to get white/black heads in that area. These strips definitely clear out the pores and there's no mess! Use once-twice a week.

Peter Thomas Roth: Max complexion correction pads (60pads = $40)
These are the first treatment pads that I've ever tried, but these sure do the job. They sting a bit, but they remove dead skin cells, prevent acne, evens skin tone, and cleans pores. I like to use these every other day because they dry out my cheeks.

Fresh: Sugar lip treatment ($22.50)
This isn't a new product for me, I'm on my second tube ^^. It's kinda thick but its very moisturizing and preps your lips for lipstick/gloss. It's pricey also, but it smells good and I feel like it relieves your lips faster than drugstore products.

I'm currently on the lookout for a good mask. I've tried the LUSH Magnaminty mask as well as the Boscia Detox mask, but I think there's one out there that's better. Any suggestions?
